Homeopathy as a Complete Health Package

There really is nothing quite like homeopathy. There are no limits to what it can achieve. The limits are those that are imposed by you the patient, or the practitioner.

Let’s look at how. Homeopathy is brilliant at resolving physical issues, be it from a mild injury, to an intense headache, to severe pathology. You can even learn to treat the mild (and not-so-mild) physical issues yourself with some of the common remedies in a low potency (strength).

Homeopathy is fantastic at restoring emotional balance after a shock, a fright, a grief, abandonment or when anger or aggression becomes a dominant factor in your life.

There is nothing quite like the depth or speed with which homeopathy can reverse deeply troubled minds.

In a nutshell, homeopathy is your doctor, your specialist, your councellor, your psychologist, your psychiatrist. This is because all of you is connected. Your mind is not separate from your body and your body parts are not separate from each other. You are connected to all of you. Homeopathy is one of the few modalities which recognises this.

Homeopathy can also replace chiropractors, physiotherapists and other body workers.

Because homeopathy works at a deep level, dentistry can also come into its sphere of action.

People have their own limited ideas. Sadly this comes through by incomplete homeopathic training as well as by not expanding our potential.

Some homeopaths do a quick 6 months or year long training. Some courses are written by people other than homeopaths. There are a multitude of reasons why some homeopaths will tell you your problem can’t be fixed by homeopathy. What they really mean is that they are not up to the job, that they don’t know enough. But that takes courage to admit as well time to rectify. Not something many people have.

I’m telling you that the sky is the limit with homeopathic treatment. You just need patience and a good homeopath who makes it their life’s journey to continue to grow and learn.

Just as in any other walk of life, there are good, bad and indifferent homeopaths. Here are a few of my suggestions to know if your’s is on the ball:

  •  you should always have a good, working relationship (friendly but respectful - anything less will not be in your long term interest)
  •  where you do most of the talking (guided by the skillful homeopath)
  •  when you are not judged, when the homeopath has no prejudices, where you feel completely at ease
  •  the depth of questioning will give you an idea - we need to touch your inner core so expect hidden emotions to surface
  •  the fewer the remedies (both in different remedies and in doses) you are given at any one time, the deeper will be the prescription
  •  complexes (several remedies in one bottle) are definitely taboo except under exceptional circumstances
  •  a need to see you frequently initially, fading into rare visits means your tendencies are being dealt with and so your ailments will diminish
  •  an improvement in not only your complaints, but also in food cravings (for healthy food), in sleep and in energy and motivation

Although most chronic conditions will take time to go completely, there will be signs to show you things are definitely on the mend. Sometimes these are subtle and you can’t see them immediately, but a skillful homeopath will be able to recognise and show you the improvements.

However, homeopathy is not one of the easiest modalities to work with, as everyone is treated as the individual they are. So if you feel comfortable with your homeopath, allow them time to ‘find’ you and so the most suitable prescription. After all, it can be hard to pack a lifetime into an hour or two.

And a good homeopath will always be using homeopathy for themselves. Just as you do, they will need an objective person (in the form of another homeopath) to help them through their problems. Ask what troubles they have or have had and what helped them. That can tell you a lot about them and the depth of their knowledge.
