Western Australia Bans Flu Vaccine

I'm not in any way competitive. I dislike patriotism, preferring to look upon myself as a citizen of the world. However, there are times when I do feel pleased and supported by my choice of community.

Western Australia's capital city, Perth is probably the most isolated city in the world. So the people of WA have always had to tough it out for themselves. They can't rely on much or quick help from a neighbour. And this has made the people rather more independent than perhaps many other communities. At any rate, the label has stuck - WA is a bit bolchy.

I love the independent spirit, the unwillingness to conform for the sake of conformity. Certainly other parts of Australia are well aware of this spirit.

And I have never been more pleased to be a part of this 'bolchiness' as now, when WA has taken, what appears to be the world's first country to ban the flu vaccine in small children.

Flu vaccination ban goes national after fever, convulsions in children

Homeopaths have always been able to see a link between deteriorating health and vaccines, with the arrival of the very first smallpox vaccine. Vaccines contain mercury, aluminium, formaldehyde, cross-species tissue, just for a starter.

And the whole idea of injecting a foreign substance directly into the blood stream shows total ignorance of how a body works. Subtle symptoms of the body to naturally build up immunity are brutally ignored in our profit driven world.

Could this great start that WA has shown possibly be the beginning of good sense prevailing over fear tactics and emotional blackmail?
