Treating Kidney Stones Naturally, With Diet and Homeopathy - Part One Prevention

Treating kidney stones is normally either by laser treatment or surgery. Both these measures are very invasive and neither of them address the cause.

Kidney stones are a hard mass created in the kidney. When your body tries to eliminate them, you can experience excruciating pain, a pain so bad you seek immediate medical help.

By knowing what the cause is, you can prevent these stones forming.

Many dietary supplements, especially but not exclusively the cheap ones, are synthetic and in isolation. What does this mean?

Synthetic means it was made in a laboratory. So it’s not a natural or real food.
Isolated nutrients are artificial. Nature doesn’t make isolated nutrients, because each one co-depends on many others. For example calcium needs phosphorus, magnesium, sodium, potassium, vitamin A and natural sunlight at the very least, to be fully utilised.

All your nutrients should come in the form of natural food. The trouble is that modern farming methods produce quantity rather than quality. So even if your diet is exceptionally healthy (and most people’s isn’t), you may still need to supplement your diet for the healthiest body.

By taking synthetic and isolated nutrients, not only are they not absorbed, so can be excreted (at best), they can cause harm by hanging up in parts of your body where they are not meant to be (at worst).

Depending on the supplement and how regularly you take it, will decide on what the worst case scenario is likely to be.

Your body naturally tries to rid itself of these supplements, in the best way it can. Creating kidney stones is one way.

Preventing recurrence of kidney stones is best addressed by taking only plant based dietary supplements. These are a food, so are in complete and natural balance. The best ones, the super foods, are the blue green algae, especially Aphanizomenon Flos Aquae.

Check the ingredients on the label of your supplement. If minerals, vitamins or nutrients are listed, then it has most likely, been created artificially. If plants are listed, then it will be easily absorbed.

Dietary calcium supplements are considered to be the cause of many, if not most, kidney stones, by the natural health industry.

Other foods which can cause kidney stones are dairy, vitamin C and D supplements (again artificial), high animal protein and processed foods. All these make your body pH too acid. By increasing the alkalinity (high plant based diet) in the form of lots of fresh fruit, vegetables, nuts and seeds and a super food supplement, you are most likely to avoid further problems.
