Chronic Fatigue Can Cause Addison's Disease

Chronic fatigue can develop after a particularly stressful time. This takes a huge toll on your body. If you’re not very healthy to start with, and you don’t address the exhaustion, you can slip into Addison’s Disease.

One of the results of chronic fatigue is your adrenal glands stop working, or work in overdrive. Your adrenal glands are situated on your kidneys and are responsible for a host of healthy bodily functions, including your hormones.

So although it’s a good idea to see your preferred health professional, to get expert advice on how to start treating your chronic fatigue, there are quite a few things you can do yourself.

One of the most important things you can do is to address your diet. Eat lots of fresh fruit and veggies, as much raw as you can. Limit you animal flesh to once or twice a week. Limit all kinds of dairy. And cut out or limit processed food such as sugar, flour, packets and junk food.

This doesn’t mean you can’t have anything sweet, just not processed sugar. Natural sweet foods include fruit, honey, dates, currents, raisins or sultanas.

To naturally supplement your health, it’s a good idea to take a superfood supplement, one that has all the main minerals and vitamins in a natural food based combination, which is easy for your body to absorb and utilise. One such as Crystal Sweet Algae.

Now the next thing most important you need to do is to start to work on that chronic fatigue.

If you are seeing a homoeopath, then that’s wonderful news. So you can skip this bit. If you’re not consulting a homeopath, then you might like to consider taking this remedy. But it’s a good idea to tell your practitioner what you’re doing.

The homeopathic remedy Arsenicum album is found in all home prescribing kits. But for it to work for you, you need to have at least three keynote symptoms.

So here are the keynote symptoms:

  • great exhaustion
  • restlessness, can’t keep still
  • worse time is around midnight to about 2 am
  • you have a thirst, but can only sip liquids
  • great anxiety, even panic attacks
  • desire for company, hates being alone
  • cold, better for warmth
  • there’s often a digestive disorder, with vomiting or/and diarrhoea or a history of
  • symptoms are burning in nature

These symptoms can cover a multitude of conditions, which is why homeopaths don’t get involved in disease labels.

If you struggle to find any of the symptoms beyond your exhaustion or fatigue, this remedy is unlikely to help you. But if you can easily see at least two more symptoms in your condition, this remedy is likely to do wonderful things for you.

And the final step in resolving your chronic fatigue is to ensure you get exercise. Do something you enjoy. And do it on a regular basis. If you don’t enjoy it, you won’t stay with it. An outdoor activity is better than an indoor one, as then you also benefit from fresh air. But the important thing is whatever you do, you look forward to it.
