Truly Natural Vitamin C

Most people know of the benefits of taking vitamin C, especially when it comes to colds and the flu.

But it’s not that simple. Is anything?

The vast majority of vitamin C sold today is in an isolated and synthetic form - calcium ascorbate, sodium ascorbate, ascorbic acid. Much of it can’t be used by your body. You didn’t evolve to utilise isolated or synthetic nutrients. They need to be in the complex and balanced form called food.

When your body tries to excrete the waste vitamin C, it puts an unnatural strain on your liver and kidneys.

Synthetic vitamin C also acidifies your body. You need an alkaline pH.

According to one human study, 1500 mg of isolated and/or synthetic vitamin C per day can cause iron deficiency and anaemia.

Synthetic vitamin C can also cause gout, hardening of the arteries and deficiencies in copper, zinc and vitamin B and probably a host of other nutrients.

However, vitamin C is important.

Apart from getting it from your food, fresh, organically grown and raw, there is a natural source of vitamin C, that I consider to be totally safe and beneficial. And that’s apart from the Crystal Sweet Algae, which contains just about everything you need.

Acerola cherries are rich in vitamin C and can be dried to make a supplement. Many vitamin C products on the market claim to have acerola cherry in them, but they also have much of the synthetic form too. Carefully read the ingredients before purchasing those.

Get the real deal - 100% acerola cherry supplement.

As it’s a food, you can’t overdose on it.

And it won’t create any deficiencies.

And it will make your body pH alkaline, not acid.

I hope you know me by now - I never promote something I haven’t tried or used. And this one is good. How good? I’ll let you know in another newsletter.
